School- Based Health Center

Meet our CHS School Nurse: Mrs. Jeannie Joyner

I AM YOUR SCHOOL NURSE
I DON’T HAVE A MAGIC WAND, A CRYSTAL BALL, OR ALL THE ANSWERS!
BUT I DO HAVE EARS TO LISTEN, ENCOURAGING WORDS TO GIVE, AND HANDS
TO TREAT YOU WITH CARE, AND MAKE YOUR BOO-BOO’S BETTER.
LET’S ALWAYS REMEMBER TO:
MAKE GOOD CHOICES
WASH OUR HANDS OFTEN
PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE
BRUSH OUR TEETH
DRINK WATER OFTEN
EAT NUTRITIOUS FOODS
EXERCISE REGULARLY
AND GET A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP
I AM ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU
KEEPING STUDENTS HEALTHY AND SAFE AT CHS

LOTS OF LOVE,

NURSE JEANNIE

TELEHEALTH 2020-2021

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bienville Family Clinic will be offering limited Telehealth Services in Bienville Parish Schools this 2020-2021 School Year.

The school can no longer offer FLU, Strep, Mono, or Urine tests at school.  There will be

NO COVID TESTING in the Schools.

Students with Fever, Covid or Flu related symptoms, abdominal or urinary pain, sore throat, lethargy, cough or shortness of breath, etc. should stay home and see their Primary Care Physician.

Telehealth visits will still be available for Allergies, Pink Eye, Ear Pain, Impetigo, Rashes, Sore throat without fever, and Nurse Consultations.

School will still have standing orders for OTC Medications for students such as, Tylenol, Tums, Benadryl, Hydrocortisone cream and Triple Antibiotic cream.

We encourage ALL students to complete and return this consent to have on file.

Students can only use Telehealth if they are attending school. Students cannot come on campus only for a telehealth visit.

Any questions or concerns regarding Telehealth, please contact your school nurse.
